About the Author
Lewis Seifert has been a health care professional for 30 years. He has always considered working in a hospital -- even on the administrative side -- an opportunity to help people spiritually as well as physically. As an interim hospital administrator, he received a letter that opened his eyes to the power words have to convey emotion, heart, and compassion. He and his wife of 33 years live in Orlando, Florida; together they raised four children and currently have three grandchildren (and counting). An original member of Metro Life Church, he can remember attending services initially in the living room of the pastor. Metro now numbers over 700 people and has planted several sister churches. Lewis is currently involved in the ministry team. If Letters from the Waiting Room helps just a single person through the valley of grief, he considers it worth every minute it takes to get this project off the ground. He hopes you will take part in this wonderful endevour. Write to him with your questions or submissions by clicking here. God Bless! ____________________________________________ Lewis and Susan Seifert Note from Lewis: My publisher tells me I need testimonials from friends and co-workers to "engender trust." If that's what it takes to receive your letters, though it's against my nature, I yield the page to some overly-generous people who have my gratitude. Lewis "…Lewis is a passionate and faithful man who God has gifted in a powerful way. When he speaks all who hear him are aware that this man has been with God, and his message begs our attention." Debi Walter - Friend of 25 years "Gifted with a spirit and sense of humor that reflects the heart of Christ, Lewis demonstrates compassion and sensitivity on a grand scale. I highly recommend both the man and his book project." Rob Swanson - Friend and publisher My father - I miss him everyday...
